DAY TWO
How We
Became Us
It started with a “Hi.” I don't think either of us knew where that little message would take us.
JULY 10
Our First “Hi”
We first found each other on LinkedIn.
Then, on July 10, you sent me a simple “Hi.”
I usually don't reply to strangers.
But for some reason,
I replied to you.
JULY → DECEMBER
Somewhere Along the Way
We kept talking.
And somewhere between July and December,
you slowly stopped feeling like someone
I had just met.
We started becoming
us
without even realizing it.
You Sent Me a Song
You once sent me a song
because it reminded you of me.
It was such a small thing.
But I remember it.
Because by then,
even little things you did
started meaning a lot to me.
The First Time I Heard Your Voice
After a few days of talking,
you sent me your first voice note.
I still remember hearing your voice
for the first time.
It didn't feel strange or unfamiliar.
Somehow, it just felt
right.
Then You Said Something I Never Forgot
You once told me you'd take a bullet for me.
I don't think you realized
how much that stayed with me.
That was one of the moments
I understood just how much
I meant to you.
We Both Already Knew
Before either of us actually said
“I love you,”
there were all those little
“I…” moments.
We'd tease each other,
stop halfway,
and pretend nothing happened.
But honestly?
We both already knew.
One Thing I'm Still Sorry About
I left Instagram without telling you.
You were hurt.
And I understand why.
I didn't mean to make you feel insecure,
but I know that I did.
I'm still sorry for that.
DECEMBER 6
And Then You Asked Me
By then, we'd already talked,
laughed, teased each other,
and fallen for each other
in our own little way.
And then came the moment
when you finally proposed me.
DECEMBER 20 · 6:55 PM
The First Time We Met
After months of knowing you through a screen,
I finally got to stand beside you.
20–25 minutes.
It sounds so little.
But meeting you for the first time
is a moment I'll never consider little.
Our First Ride
You took me on your bike.
I was finally sitting behind the person
I had spent months getting attached to.
For a little while,
the world felt exactly where
it was supposed to be.
A Moment I'll Always Carry
A kiss.
A hug.
Just us.
For those few minutes,
I didn't need anything else.
I had you.
A Memory I'll Keep
You came to my house.
We took this picture.
We were happy.
And I didn't know then
that this moment
would become one of the memories
I'd hold closest.
Our Most, Most Favorite
There are pictures we take.
And then there are pictures
that become part of us.
This one is ours.
Every time I see it,
I remember how happy I was
simply because I was with you.
